We offer long term comprehensive dental care for
children and adolescents of all ages and needs, consisting of
preventive care, restorative and cosmetic dentistry and early
orthodontics. Our goal is to provide your children with the best
dental treatment while in the most relaxing and unthreatening
atmosphere. This is why we provide TV's in all of the rooms, so that
patients can watch movies while being treated. We also have toys for
all ages including video games. The use of different types of
in office sedation, as well as treatment in the hospital when
necessary simplifies the complex treatment of very young or special
needs patients. Parents are welcome in the treatment are for most
procedures. We have extended office hours and are easily accessible
from the turnpike, 878, 874, and Kendall drive. Most emergencies are
seen on the same day. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
recommends that a child's first dental visit occur within 6 months
after the 1st tooth erupts. By starting early, you can prevent many
problems.

Maria V Smith attended the University of Miami for
her undergraduate studies. She holds a Doctorate in Dental Medicine
from the University of Florida. She completed a residency in
pediatric dentistry at the Medical University of South Carolina,
where she served as Chief Resident her second year. She is a
Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and she is
Board Certified.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida
Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
She has spent most of her life in Miami, Florida and has been
involved in several community programs such as Head Start, for many
years.
She enjoys music and painting and is fluent in English, Spanish and
French. |
